Bitkraft Technologies inspires and learns from young tech enthusiasts at Mumbai hackathon

1. Hackathon, “Error 405.5”

Bitkraft Technologies, a leading technology company specializing in software development, recently participated in a Hackathon called “Error 405.5” at the MH Saboo Siddik College of Engineering in Mumbai.

The two-day event held on the 18th and 19th of March was a great success, drawing participation from student groups across India.

Bitkraft was one of the silver sponsors for the event and provided one of the problem statements for the competition.

The college had approached several teams to provide problem statements related to current digital trends from various domains, including Machine Learning, Web Development, Blockchain, and others.

The problems were then given to teams comprising 4-5 students each, who had 2 days to work on them

2. Bitkraft’s Problem Statement

Bitkraft’s problem statement was from the retail domain, relating to increasing sales revenue for e-commerce websites by impacting the psychology of the buyers through the product views velocity. The team was tasked with creating dashboards to determine the most popular platform for the product and showcase the overall popularity of the product.

Many teams from the finalists had chosen the problem of seamless hiring process management, but Bitkraft’s problem statement was different. The student teams showed great potential and delivered good solutions in most cases, despite the short time frame of 2 days.

They put in the effort to understand the problem from under its skin and were able to answer tricky questions. This experience allowed them to gain practical knowledge, which is essential in the real world.

Bitkraft’s COO and Co-Founder, Juzer Dhuliawala, was among the distinguished panel of judges for the competition.
