The Bengaluru Tech Summit 2023 (BTS) has concluded, leaving behind a trail of excitement, inspiration, and a renewed sense of possibility.

Organized by the Karnataka IT Department and STPI Bengaluru, the event was inaugurated by Honourable Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Honourable Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar.
It brought together over 350 international speakers, 400 thought-provoking sessions, and 350 diverse exhibitors representing 35 countries.
From bustling halls to inspiring talks and exciting startups, the 26th Bengaluru Tech Summit 2023 was a one-of-a-kind experience for us.
With the theme “Breaking Boundaries,” the summit showcased the latest technology advancements.
It connected industry leaders with up-and-coming startups and sparked a spirit of teamwork that will shape the future of tech.
Bengaluru Tech Summit 2023: Summary
The Bengaluru Tech Summit 2023 was held from December 1st to 3rd at the Bangalore Palace.
Themed “Breaking Boundaries: Innovations from India, Impact for the World,” the summit served as a global gathering for visionaries, industry leaders, and tech enthusiasts. The aim is to inspire global tech communities, fostering innovation and collaboration.
The summit featured a wide range of events, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions. Some of the highlights of the summit included:
- The unveiling of a revised policy for Biotechnology and a new Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) policy by the Government of Karnataka.
- The signing of an MoU between the US-India Business Council (USIBC) and the Government of Karnataka’s Department of Electronics, IT, Bt.
- The launch of Uber’s global flagship electric vehicle service, Uber Green.
- The announcement of the winners of the 24th edition of the ‘TCS Rural IT Quiz’.
- The official launch of Phase II for two flagship innovation programs by the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP).
- The third edition of the India-USA Tech Conclave.
- The Chandrayaan 3 ISRO-Industry Pavilion.
- The Green BTS initiative saw the summit achieve zero waste to landfill and reduce plastic use by 95%.

Infosys founder N.M. Narayana Murthy, in conversation with Zerodha CEO Nikhil Kamath, painted a picture of Bengaluru as a vibrant hub of innovation.
He emphasized the city’s shift from socialism to a compassionate capitalist model, highlighting the need for ethical business practices, simplified regulations, and increased foreign investment.
